The old students of the Lagos African Church Grammar School, Ifako (LAFROGRAMS), USA chapter have donated an ultra modern clinic to address cases of emergency in the school.

President of the alumni chapter, Ibunkun Oluojo, who made this known, while speaking with Journalists yesterday, said they deemed it fit to donate such a befitting clinic to their alma mater, owing to the moral training they received during their school days.

He called for more donations among the alumni, noting that their gestures would go a long a way in developing the school. Speaking on what informed their decisions to build a clinic for the school, he explained: “We have been doing a lot for the school. A little while ago, it just came to our consciousness that there is no clinic in the school, considering how this facility helped us during our school days where we enjoyed getting medications.”

On his part, the National President of the body the Old Students Association (LAFROSA), Yomi Taiwo, expressed excitement as the alumni finally delivered on the project as promised.

Commenting on the standard of education among the faith-based schools, he lauded the quality of teaching and the present state of infrastructure, which according to him have contributed to the growth of learning, adding that “because of these, I know the quality of teachers recruited into the system; they are high-quality teachers, well paid and encouraged to churn out good results.”
