One of the contenders, Alusi Kehinde, has emerged the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for the forthcoming by-election for a replacement for the seat of Surulere Federal Constituency 1 vacated by Femi Gbajabiamila.

The party, which conducted the primary through voice votes, was also witnessed by representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies and the media.

In a statement by his Media Consultant, Taoreed Adedeji, the newly-elected candidate was described as a successful real estate entrepreneur, who has successfully developed different estates within the Lagos and Ogun states’ axis.
