
Information and associations are two critical factors that determine how career and business professionals advance and progress. This was the core of the maiden edition of the Successful and Upwardly Mobile Professionals Workshop (S.U.M.P) organised by The Ayobami Olugbenga-Wyse (AOW) Company & CW Advisory.
The exclusive nine-hour physical and practical workshop, which was held at the prestigious Eko Hotel and Suites on Saturday, December 10, had in attendance, top Human Resource & Business Management Consulting musketeers armed with knowledge on human capital and business development.
Speakers at the event included Human Capital Development and High-Performance Expert, Ayobami Olugbenga-Wyse (AOW), fondly referred to as #ThePurposeDr., Partner. Alan&Grant & Group HR Head at Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Mr Gbenga Totoyi (GT), and multi-award-winning Career Development Coach and Emotional Intelligence Expert and Lead Consultant at Workplace with Jam, Dr Jumoke Aleoke-Malicha (JAM).
The workshop was themed, ‘Practical Steps to Consistently Experience a Productive and Highly Rewarding Career and Business.’ Some of the key learning areas centered on at the workshop were: how to define your career goals and business vision, dealing with limiting beliefs, building capacity, mastering the art of networking and developing daily the right and practical habits for daily effectiveness and productivity.
During the event, participants were given a comprehensive personality assessment report and an autographed copy of the book, ‘Get Clear on Your Career Path’ by Ayobami Olugbenga-Wyse.
At the end of the event, participants were presented with S.U.M.P workshop certificates and had photo sessions with the facilitators as they networked among themselves. In addition, they became the pioneer members of the prestigious S.U.M.P community, where post-workshop activities geared towards guaranteed career success continue.
The organisers of the S.U.M.P workshop also presented the guest facilitators, GT and JAM with awards in recognition of their contribution towards the lives of Successful and Upwardly Mobile Professionals in the Career and Business space in Africa over the years.
