The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, expressed concern over the level of insecurity in the northwest geopolitical zone of the country.

National Vice Chairman (North West), Dr. Salihu Lukman, who spoke during a fact-finding tour of the region, decried the security challenge bedeviling, especially, Sokoto, Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna and Kebbi States.

He promised to liaise with elders of the party such as Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko with a view to resolving the problem ahead of the 2023 polls.

He assured that security would be at the front burner of the party’s agenda for 2023 and beyond. Wamakko, who is the APC leader in Sokoto, pledged to support the party.
