APC South-South chairman welcomes Eno, pledges support in 2027

The National Vice-Chairman (South-South) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Victor Giadom, has welcomed the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, and other members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the party.

In a statement on Monday, Giadom said Eno’s decision to join the APC was timely and a strategic move to foster greater synergy with the Federal Government.

He said the move will also unlock more social and economic opportunities for the accelerated development of Akwa Ibom.

He said President Bola Tinubu’s bold and unprecedented policy reforms have continued to draw massive appeal among leaders and people of the South-South region, who are keen to work with him and the APC for the progress of the region and the country.

He assured Eno and his teeming followers of the party’s full cooperation towards the delivery of improved governance, dividends of democracy, and a massive electoral victory in the Zone in 2027.
