Archbishop restates warning Ihedioha against intimidating Imo people
Archbishop of Owerri Catholic Ecclesiastic Province, Anthony Obinna, said he had advised the governor-elect of the state, Emeka Ihedioha, not to intimidate Imo people when he climbs the saddle of governing the state from May 29.
Obinna, who stated this yesterday while briefing journalists in his office in Owerri, said he gave the advice to Ihedioha when he visited him shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Also, the cleric said he had told Governor Okorocha’s son in- law, Uche Nwosu, that if enthroned, it would be the third term agenda of Okorocha.
He said he warned Okorocha against his approach to governing the people, leading to people of the state being afraid in their own land.
