Army recovers, hands over stolen animals to Kaduna government

The 1 Division of the Nigerian Army has recovered and handed over 14 sheep and 120 cows believed to have been rustled along Kaduna-Abuja highway to the Kaduna State Government.

The 1 Division of the Nigerian Army has recovered and handed over 14 sheep and 120 cows believed to have been rustled along Kaduna-Abuja highway to the Kaduna State Government.

The division’s Garrison Commander of the Division, Brigadier General Jimmy Akpor, said the animals were recovered during the military’s Thunder Strike around Ligari general area at Sabon Gaya in Chikun council area of the state.

Akpor, who led the team, made the disclosure while handing over the animals to the Coordinator of the state’s local security outfit called Operation Yaki and Special Adviser to Governor Nasir El-Rufai on Internal Security, AIG Murtala Abbas (rtd) in the capital.
