Reputation Poll International (RPI), in collaboration with the Global Reputation Forum (GRF), has unveiled the prestigious 2025 list of the 100 Most Reputable Africans.

This highly anticipated yearly announcement celebrates African leaders, innovators, and changemakers who have made outstanding contributions across diverse sectors, including business, governance, arts, education, and humanitarian efforts.

Nigerians on the list include Tony Elumelu, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Joshua Selman, Sinach, Jumoke Oduwole, Wemimo Abbey, Nuhu Ribadu, Gbemisola Saraki, Dr Paul Enenche, Dr Daniel Olukoya, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Cosmas Maduka, and others.

Kemi Badenoch, a Member of the UK House of Parliament and Leader of the Conservative Party Opposition, also featured on the list under the African Diaspora category.

According to the Global Reputation Forum, the 2025 honorees exemplify excellence, leadership, and integrity while inspiring progress and driving positive transformation across the continent.

The list is divided into two categories: Sectoral Excellence and Influence & Impact. The Sectoral Excellence category includes trailblazers in technology, creative industries, sports, public service, academia, and environmental advocacy.

The Influence & Impact category highlights individuals recognised for their ability to inspire, influence, and create meaningful change both locally and globally.

The selection process for Africa’s Most Reputable People is based on a rigorous methodology that evaluates integrity, impact, and visibility. Integrity reflects ethical leadership and commitment to societal well-being. Impact focuses on contributions to transformative projects and initiatives. Visibility measures recognition and influence in their respective fields.

This year’s honorees include notable figures such as Isatou Ceesay from The Gambia, who is an advocate for climate resilience and sustainable development. Isatou is renowned for her innovative approach to waste management and women’s empowerment.

Her leadership in transforming plastic waste into economic opportunities for rural women has made her a symbol of sustainability and social change across the continent.

Karen Matsiko from South Africa is another honoree. She is celebrated for her leadership in banking and logistics, as well as her expertise in trade finance and sustainable trends in emerging markets. Her contributions to financial innovation and economic development across Sub-Saharan Africa have secured her a place on the list.

Rosa Whitaker Duncan-Williams from Ghana, a global business innovator, is recognised for her work promoting U.S.-Africa trade and advocating for economic development, youth empowerment, and social initiatives. Her efforts have fostered international business and community growth, earning her a well-deserved spot on the list.

Reputation Poll International announced that the full list of the 100 Most Reputable Africans for 2025 is available on its website.

An official recognition ceremony will be held in South Africa to celebrate the honorees. The event will bring together leaders, stakeholders, and recipients to acknowledge their achievements and explore ways to advance Africa’s development.
