Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has assured of his continuous support for cultural integration to promote peaceful co-existence among communities in the state to ensure sustainable development.

Bello, who stated this during the launch of Ihima civic centre in Okehi Local Council of Kogi State, said his administration will not relent in supporting projects and programmes that would impact positively on the life of the people.

Represented by the Director-General, Government House Administration, Dr. Shuaibu Oricha, the governor said culture, when effectively harnessed, remained a veritable tool for peace, unity, progress and development of any society.

He appealed to the people to embrace peace and unity, urging them to take seriously the forthcoming census exercise, as the data collected would enable the government to plan for development.
