Governor Yahaya Bello has assured of his administration’s commitment to rid Kogi State of criminal elements.

The governor, who spoke yesterday while distributing vehicles to climax ceremonies to mark the 25th anniversary of the state’s creation, said he had shifted attention towards assisting security operatives in discharging their constitutional duties effectively.

The beneficiaries include the police, military, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Nigeria Customs Service and navy.

“My administration will not rest on its oars until hoodlums and miscreants making life unbearable for citizens are flushed out,” Bello said.

He noted that no society could thrive without adequate security.

The governor promised the implementation of his administration’s blueprint in fulfilment of his party’s quest to bring succour to the people.

Bello expressed optimism that the people would continue to witness good health and prosperity in their various endeavours in the years ahead.
