BENUE State Government has expressed concern over the procurement of over 50 trucks of fake fertilizer worth over 471.8 metric tones by the immediate past administration in the state for onward distribution to the unsuspecting farmers of the state.
The state Commissioner for Agriculture, Mr. James Anbua made the allegation yesterday while addressing journalists at his office in Makurdi
He also frowned at the attitude of the contractor, Solab Engineering Company, LTD for refusing to evacuate the fake products from the store.
