To mark his 15th anniversary on stage, popular stand-up comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma is set to hold his comedy special show, ‘Bovi – Identity Crisis’ on Saturday, September 30 at Eko Hotels and Suites from 7pm.

Speaking at a press conference, Bovi said the with most of his jokes bordering on identity across the world and in different spheres, it informed the theme of his comedy special.

“Every entertainer has a story to tell and when it comes to stand-up comedy, it serves as an avenue to tell these stories.”

Noting that the show will feature upcoming comedians, Bovi said, “expect to laugh. Some of the funniest comedians who are emerging and keeping stand-up comedy as an art form and alive will be there to entertain.

“Of course, I will have the chunk of entertainment to do. There will be new jokes that you’ve never heard before. It is not a jamboree type of show. It is a comedy show majorly,” he added.

In 2014, Bovi held his first stand-up special, ‘Man on Fire’ which ran in fourth editions. In 2022, he held Bovi – Naughty By Nature.
