Buratai to spend Sallah with soldiers in Yobe
THE new Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, has confirmed that he would be proceeding to Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, where he is expected to celebrate the Sallah with troops at the battleground.
The gesture is expected to boost the morale of the soldiers fighting Boko Haram in the state and nearby Borno and Adamawa states.
Reminded that Nigerians were interested on update of the war against terror, he said, “I’m just few hours on this seat, so we will give details as the time unfolds, I hope some of you will follow me to Damaturu today, (yesterday) to celebrate Sallah with the troops in the war front there, so you’ll get to know more of what we are
