Catering firm partners Lagos on World Food Week

Nigeria outdoor catering and restaurant company, OfadaBoy, has announced its partnership with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture to celebrate Global World Food Week in Lagos, with the theme Water is food, Water is life.
It also disclosed that the fifth edition of the food festival in Nigeria, Ofada Rice Day (OFD), will hold in December to end the Food Week events.
The disclosure, which was made at a press briefing by the Ministry of Agriculture, outlined various activities lined up for the week-long celebration, which include Farmers Forum, road show and sensitisation walk and school quiz, among others.
Commenting on the partnership, Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Abisola Olusanya, said the importance of the theme for 2023 cannot be over-emphasised as food and water play major significant role in human existence.
In his remarks, the convener of the Ofada Rice Day Festival and Chief Executive Officer of OfadaBoy, Mr. Tobi Fletcher, noted that the company was extremely happy to be part of the train to bring to the consciousness of Nigerians again the significance of water and food to life.
