Christ Apostolic Mission Church Int’l Headquarters, Mushin, Lagos, will todasy to mark its 70th anniversary with the theme, Behold, I would do a new thing.
For the pew to the pulpit, the excitement is contagious. This is because not only is the church marking a significant milestone, it will also mark the dedication of its ultra-modern Cathedral, dubbed Glory Cathedral, which is a testament to the glory of God.
The church was founded by Apostle John Ajayi Agbona, a man of little means from Ilawe in Ekiti State.
After a supernatural encounter with God, the trajectory of his life assumed a fresh direction as he was called into the ministry. Despite the paucity of funds, he was steadfast in his spiritual growth, community impact, and unwavering commitment to faith. The church has since grown in leaps and bounds with branches in Nigeria and overseas.
Today, the church, led by Pastor J.B. Taiwo, President CAMC Worldwide, has led the members through the proverbial phoenix journey. The international headquarters has assumed a befitting status decorated with glory and splendour to match the times and needs of the congregation.
Founded on December 13, 1952, Christ Apostolic Mission Church has been a pillar of faith and service in the community for seven decades. Committed to spreading the message of grace and glory, the church has played a vital role in transforming lives of members and non members alike.
