the coming on stream of Clickafix, an app that provides a marketplace platform for this class of service providers.
According to Clickafix Founder, Mr. Arun Goswami, the app provides a wide range of choices of professionals and artisans to persons and organisations who need to carry out repairs in their homes and offices.
Goswami said that after downloading the app from the Play Store, or IOS on mobile phones, residents only need to register with their phone numbers, and begin to gain access to thousands of skilled artisans and professionals that have been verified and properly certified to carry out plumbing and carpentry works, electrical, refrigerator, airconditioning, power generating plants repairs, as well as general appliances repairs.
He said the customers enjoy the freedom to choose preferred artisans based on experience, service rate, and the customer’s budget, adding that Clickafix is location-based and links customers with service personnel closest to them to reduce contact time.
The app, according to him, gives detail about each professional, stating years of experience, number of successful jobs done on the platform, qualifications, and hourly rate of the professionals. It also gives the customer the freedom to consider several options and go for what suits them most per time.
Clicafix co-founder, Mr. Pawan Bhandari, while speaking on the app’s dependability, stated that due diligence and thorough background checks were performed on all professionals on the app to determine their competence and character.
He added that Clickafix is in partnership with leading training institutes in Lagos, and also enrolling products of these institutes on the app.
Arusha Goswami, another Co-Founder of Clickafix, said the customers pay only when satisfied with the services provided, even as they are encouraged to give a review of their experience with the app.
