Code conference to begin in Nigeria on Jan. 26

Soar On Technologies Limited, a software development firm is set to hold its maiden Code Conference, Nigeria [CCN] themed “The Code Master – Digital Leap For Nigerian Coders.” The event is scheduled to hold on 26th and 27th of January, 2017 at Lagos Digital Village, Alausa with the collaboration of University of Lagos, Lagos State Ministry of Science and Technology and Institute of Software practitioners in Nigeria [ISPON].

The aim of this conference is to bring together leaders in the I.T. industry so as to empower young programmers in the country. It is also aimed at creating a platform where academic institutions, stakeholders and government can share knowledge about latest trends, developments and the future of Nigerian software in the 21st century.

Various firms will be on board to provide first-hand information, enlightenment, awareness and orientation on the importance of security. As coders/programmers write codes, the most important thing to keep in mind, aside from user-experience, is security. Digital marketing techniques in promoting made-in-Nigeria software will be explored.
