The communities, through Agbajo Owo Community Development Association in a letter by the Chairman, Mr. M.A Adeleye and Secretary, Mr. Taofeek Adeniji lamented that their communities has been experiencing total black-out since 2012 due to the break down of their transformer.
According to them, the Governor Amosun in 2012 had verbally promised to provide a 500KVA transformer for them, but since then nothing has been done to savage the situation.
They disclosed that they had written several letters to the State government and the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBDEC) on their plight, lamenting that the lack of electricity in their communities has disrupted their socio-economic activities.
