The All Progressives Congress, APC Zamfara State has resolved to work in unison with the State Government with a view to repositioning the State to a more viable, secured stage.

 

The chairman of the Party, Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji made the disclosure when he led the executives of the party to a maiden courtesy visit to the State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal at Government House, Gusau on Friday, 26/06/2026.

 

According to him, the party has been following with keen interest the positive impact of the Governor in all nooks and crannies of the State and has since aligned itself with such achievements.

 

Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji explained that infrastructures, such as Gusau International Airport, roads network, health care and educational facilities embarked upon by the State Government under Dr. Dauda Lawal’s watch has made it easier for the party to package and market him to the electorates in the build up to 2027 general elections.

 

The chairman opined that such laudable works have also positioned the party at vintage point that would be used by the party to campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR as well as its other candidates vying for various elective positions in the said election.

 

Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji pledged that the Party will continue to be a bridge between People and Government in an attempt to enhance peaceful co-existence between the two symbiotic partners and appealed to the Governor to assist the party in whatever way possible to function very well.

 

Responding, Governor Dauda Lawal stressed the need for synergy between the party and his administration, saying that it’s only through unity of purpose that the gains so far attained could be solidified.

 

Governor Dauda Lawal called on the Chairman and his team to map out strategies that will enhance the sanitization of the polity especially where youths involvement in politics is pronounced.

 

He stated that if such strategies are presented by the party, his administration will then blend them with its own so that together the desired objectives could be achieved.

 

Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal explained that his doors will always remain open for the party and its leadership to offer useful suggestions for the upliftment of the State and its People.
