Construction workers blame government debt for job loss
National President, Construction and Civil Engineering Senior Staff Association (CCESSA), Comrade Isaac Egbugara, has sent a Save Our Souls (SOS) to the three tiers of government, as the huge debt owed operators in the construction industry by the federal, state and local governments had led to job loss.
Egbugara, who was returned unopposed as the association’s president at the 11th Triennial National Conference of CCESSA, with the theme: “The Challenges of a Downturn in the Construction Industry in Nigeria,” would lead the 17-man executive.
In a post election speech, Egbugara, thanking members for the confidence reposed in him, pledged to lead the body to greater heights. He solicited more support from his colleagues.
