COSON condoles Wasiu Ayinde over mother’s death

The Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) has extended its condolences to Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as “K1 De Ultimate”, over the loss of his mother, Alhaja Halimot Anifowoshe.
COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, said in a statement on Sunday in Lagos.

Okoroji said: “King Wasiu’s resilience, artistry, and commitment to promoting Nigerian culture and the creative industry through his music, have made him a beloved icon, not just in Nigeria but around the world.
“As he mourns the death of his beloved mother, the Board, Management and the thousands of COSON members across Nigeria, join his many fans and friends to pray that the Almighty gives him and his family comfort and strength to bear the loss.

“And and that the soul of his cherished mother rests in peace.”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Alhaja Anifowoshe died on Saturday.
