The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Abuja has ordered that the former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, be remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The court gave the order on Wednesday after arraigning Bello on a 16-count charge bordering on alleged money laundering.

The former Kogi State Governor, however, pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
