Cyber security firm expands presence in Africa with office in Lagos
An information security organisation, Digital Encode, has established a new sub-Saharan global office in the Lekki area of Lagos State, Nigeria.
This move is part of the company’s efforts to fulfill its mission of safeguarding organisations worldwide against cyber threats.
As part of this expansion, the company has launched the Centre for Information Security Intelligence (CISI) at its new global office.
This specialised centre, according to it, aims to heighten cyber situational awareness, provide tailored threat intelligence and enable collaboration with international cyber security organisations among others.
Chief Visionary Officer and Founder of Digital Encode Ltd, Dr Obadare Adewale, said that by anticipating and proactively addressing emerging threats, the firm would enhance the cyber resilience of its clients.
“CISI, Digital Encode’s proprietary solution, enables us to identify potential vulnerabilities in our clients’ environments and deploy targeted counter-measures before adversaries can exploit them.
“This approach minimises the likelihood and impact of cyber incidents, thereby strengthening the overall cyber resilience of Digital Encode’s clients,” he added.
As the driving force behind CISI, Adewale emphasised that the firm solidifies its position as a thought leader in the cyber security domain by developing innovative solutions that address the evolving threat landscape.
He insisted that Digital Encode demonstrates its commitment to staying ahead of the curve and providing its clients with the most effective cybersecurity strategies.
Adewale further emphasised the firm’s commitment to driving innovation and influencing the direction of the cybersecurity industry.
He noted that being a cyber security unicorn requires a steadfast commitment to charting a bold course, navigating challenges and seizing opportunities for growth and innovation.
Adewale further highlighted that leading a cyber security unicorn involves leading by example, inspiring the team to excel, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
This approach, he outlined, enables Digital Encode to stay at the forefront of the industry, driving progress and shaping the future of cyber security.
