President/Chief Executive of Dangote Groups, Aliko Dangote, has congratulated renowned journalist, Mr. Martins Oloja, on his appointment as the Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Guardian.

A statement signed by Dangote on behalf of the board, management and members of staff of the organisation, said the appointment was an eloquent testimony of his achievements during his tenure as Editor and later the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper.

“Your brilliance and sterling leadership qualities, which you have made to bear on the organisation, have earned you this worthy elevation, which I also hope you will see as a challenge to strive for greater professional excellence,” he stated.
