At the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention held at Eagle Square, Daniel Ogoloma addressed party leaders and delegates, aligning the aspirations of young Nigerians with the policy direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking as a Youth Representative, Ogoloma delivered a message that positioned Nigerian youths as active participants in the country’s development.
“I stand before you today as a proud young member of the APC and as living proof that the future of Nigeria is already here and that future is a young one,” he said.
Framing his remarks around the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, Ogoloma expressed support for the President’s focus on youth inclusion, describing it as a shift from rhetoric to measurable investment.
“Mr President, the youth of Nigeria have one clear message: thank you. This administration did not just speak about young people, it invested in us, placed us at the centre of national development, and the results are already visible,” he stated.
He highlighted key interventions including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), noting its role in expanding access to education for young Nigerians.
“That is not just policy, it is transformation. Families that once lost hope can now dream again,” he added.
Ogoloma also referenced the Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA) and its “one youth, two skills” framework, describing it as a step toward equipping young Nigerians with practical capabilities. He further pointed to digital and enterprise initiatives creating new pathways for income and innovation.
Referencing programmes such as NiYA Gigs and initiatives led by the National Information Technology Development Agency, he said young Nigerians are increasingly positioned to compete and contribute on a global scale.
“This is not ordinary governance, it is a deliberate commitment to unlocking the potential of a generation,” he said.
His address, delivered to a packed crowd, was marked by confidence and clarity, drawing attention from party stakeholders and younger attendees.
Beyond the policy highlights, his appearance on the APC stage reflects a growing emphasis on youth participation within the party and the emergence of new voices within its ranks.
Closing his remarks, he called on young Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunities being created.
“The door is open. Step in, skill up, rise up, and build,” he said.
