A real estate firm, Kemsan Construction, has launched a new residential estate in Ibadan as part of efforts to address the city’s growing housing deficit and expand access to quality accommodation for residents and investors.
The company unveiled Kemsan Court shortly after completing Kemsan Height, which it described as Ibadan’s largest apartment project.
Speaking at the launch, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kemsan Group, Oluwaseun Owoseni, said the development was designed to provide affordable premium housing while responding to the increasing demand for modern residential estates in the Oyo State capital.
According to him, Kemsan Court represents a larger investment in the city’s real estate sector and is aimed at delivering secure, comfortable and sustainable housing for families, young professionals and property investors.
Located around Kolapo Ishola Estate, the estate offers easy access to major commercial districts, including Iwo Road and other parts of the city.
The development comprises one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments equipped with facilities such as CCTV surveillance, 24-hour electricity, treated water supply, home automation systems, Wi-Fi connectivity, children’s playgrounds, ample parking spaces, street lighting, relaxation centres and an internal road network.
Owoseni said the project aligns with the company’s vision of increasing the supply of quality housing while creating long-term investment opportunities in Ibadan’s expanding property market.
He noted that rapid urbanisation and population growth have continued to increase demand for residential accommodation in the city, making private sector investment critical to bridging the housing gap.
According to him, beyond providing homes, the estate is expected to contribute to economic development through job creation, improved infrastructure and increased investment in the real estate sector.
Owoseni added that subscriptions for Kemsan Court had commenced, inviting prospective homeowners and investors to take advantage of the new development.
