Don’t take oath to vote, Akwa Ibom PDP leader advises delegates
Delegates from Akwa Ibom State have been advised against taking oath, popularity called ‘Mbiam’, to vote for any aspirant but rather vote for a man that will maintain peace in the state.
The advice was given by a political leader in Esit-Eket, Akwa Ibom State, Benjamin Udobia.
Udobia said there would be a level-playing field for all aspirants to contest for the governorship primaries under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
He explained that the state had witnessed peace under the present administration, hence the people want the peace to continue.
While speaking with The Guardian in Uyo, Udobia urged the electorate to vote Umo Eno, whom he said would provide more employment opportunities, bring the people out of poverty, reposition the youth for greater future and unite the state as one.
He called on youths to support the governor and key into the industrialisation agenda of the governor, which in turn would bring employment into the state.
