AFTER more than 24 hours of siege, operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) yesterday finally withdrew from the Abuja private home of the immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd).

But they withdrew only after seizing his international passports and other vital documents. Col. Dasuki was billed to travel to the United States of America on a private next Friday.

Sources told The Guardian that although there is no more restriction on his movement, Dasuki is pained that he was deprived of performing his religious obligation of attending the Eid-el-Fitri Prayers which marked the end of Ramadan fasting.

He is therefore likely to challenge the action by seeking legal redress in order to enforce his fundamental human rights. A source also said that throughout the siege on the residence of Dasuki, only Col Bello Fadille, who is a director in the NSA’s office, was allowed entry and stayed with him throughout the siege.

What DSS is doing or has done was exactly what NDLEA did to Kashamu. Shaming, namiming, harassing and intimidation. It is absolutely wrong in a civilised nation. This is impunity and is this what change is all about?

People like you are stupid and irresponsible with comments that lack credibility. Why cant you ask Buhari how he is paying for his children school fees in London and United states, when the illiterates president is going around that he is poor farmer. Do you not know that he borrowed 27 million naira to buy Association of Past/present Criminals (APC) presidential tickets form so how did the Chief of Thieves get billions on naira for campaign if not the salaries of state workers from APC looting governors no wonder he was able to release 800 billion naira to them without national assembly approval. So ask all APC thieves how they are funding their childrens school fees before asking Dasuki for his fathers medical treatment, dumbs and fools like you are always dancing and praising people like THIEFNUBU the chief looters of Lagos but never ask him how he got over 24 companies after just eight years out as Lagos governor with estimate of 800 billion to 1.2 trillion naira, Chief THIEF of THE FEDERATION (THIEFNUBU)
