Edo: Former Obidient Movement coordinator joins APC

A former Edo State Coordinator of the Obidient Movement in the 2023 presidential election, Ikhuenbor Felix Igbinevbo (aka Mr Figo), on Tuesday officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State.

He officially joined the party when he paid a visit to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Ohuan Ward, Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of the state.

Ikhuenbor, an activist, said that he decided to become a card-carrying member of a political party for the first time in over five decades of his life because of Governor Monday Okpebholo.

He said it has come to his firm conclusion that it was no longer enough to support such a man from the outside, that he believes in strengthening his voice of advocacy from within the APC family as a party man.

Ikhuenbor vowed to add real value to the governor’s people-focused government.

“For the first time in my life, I have taken the decision to become a card-carrying member of any political party. I’m doing so because of one man, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State.

“My engagement with the governor in the past week, and particularly during my journey with him to several local government areas in Edo North and Edo Central, my perspective shifted when I saw firsthand the zeal and sincerity in his developmental drives for Edo State,” Ikhuenbor said.
