Edubridge selects judges for 2022 Business Challenge Competition

EduBridge Academy, one of Nigeria’s leading employability and career development organisations, hosted its prestigious Business Challenge Competition on June 19, 2022, drawing top-performing young professionals from its highly regarded Analyst Program. The event featured a distinguished panel of judges carefully selected for their expertise in the industry and accomplishments in business, finance, and entrepreneurship.

The Business Challenge Competition serves as the capstone event of EduBridge’s Analyst Program, providing participants an opportunity to demonstrate their skills in business problem-solving, financial modelling, and strategic thinking. Only top-ranked candidates from the program are invited to compete, and the judging process mirrors the high standards and rigour found in global business environments.

According to EduBridge’s Managing Director, Olaide Oladosu, “Our 2022 judging panel is made of some of the best in business, innovation, and entrepreneurship, who bring multiple years of experience to this year’s Business Challenge Competition.

The 2022 panel of judges include:

Toritse David, Entrepreneur & Investment Strategist
Toritse is a Nigerian innovation strategist and co-founder of Velocity Africa, a venture-building platform that supports high-potential African startups across sectors like fintech and logistics. At the time of the competition, she had extensive experience in private equity and innovation consulting and was deeply involved in ecosystem-building efforts on the continent.

Balikis Abubakar, Treasury Sales Associate, Bank of America
A dynamic finance professional, Balikis works in the Treasury division of Bank of America, helping large corporate clients optimise liquidity and cash management strategies. She has a strong background in corporate banking and has worked across global financial hubs.

Oluwatosin Ilori, Manager, Deloitte Africa
Oluwatosin is a seasoned consultant with Deloitte Africa, where he leads teams on strategy, operations, and transformation projects for leading companies across multiple industries. He brings years of cross-sectoral experience and a passion for youth capacity building.

Oluwakemi Jeje, CEO, WholeEats Nigeria
A leading voice in Nigeria’s wellness and food-tech space, Oluwakemi is the founder and CEO of WholeEats Nigeria, a company focused on healthy food delivery and nutrition education. She is known for combining entrepreneurship with impact-driven innovation.

Olaide Ogundeyi, Team Lead, Advisory, Commercio Partners
Olaide leads strategic advisory initiatives at Commercio Partners, a financial services firm in Lagos. His expertise lies in investment banking, corporate finance, and capital markets, and he regularly mentors early-career finance professionals.

The panellists were responsible for evaluating case submissions, reviewing financial forecasts, and scoring live presentations delivered by the participants. The competition not only tested technical knowledge but also emphasised the real-world application and communication skills.
