El-Rufai, deputy warn against impostors
Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai, and his deputy, Hadiza Balarabe, have warned the general public to be conscious of impostors using their names for extortion.
In a statement by the Commissioner-designate of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, the governor informed the general public that he and his deputy had no connection with El-Rufai Better Life Foundation and Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe Foundation.
“The criminals behind these foundations have been extorting money from unsuspecting members of the public by selling them registration forms with the promise of providing them financial empowerment. “The public is advised to report any approach by these scammers to the police. Anybody buying registration forms from these scammers does so at his or her own risk.”
