Emokpae advocates inclusive leadership

Chairman, Board of Trustees, ED-JOHN Institute of Management and Technology, Philips School of Futurology, Security and Leadership Research, Dr Osaren Emokpae, has called on Nigerian leaders to run inclusive government that will give every segment of the country a sense of belonging.

He made the call at a press conference for the inaugural annual lecture of the institute, with the theme: “Future in Focus”, bill to take place on December 2, in Lagos.

Emokpae, who said Olu Falomo would be the chairman of the occasion, noted that failure to run inclusive government would not only continue to tear the nation apart but endanger its future.

“As long as there is continuous departure from the truth that will make every Nigerian benefit from governance, the future of the country will remain bleak.”

“There are Nigerians who do not have any other place to go and as long as their rights are being denied, they will continue to fight back by committing atrocities, like kidnapping, robbery, among other vices,” he said.
