Expert seeks collaborative efforts to develop education sector
The Chief Executive Officer of Aerofield Homes Limited, Trinity Gardens and the newly elected National President of Christ Apostolic Church Grammar School Old Students Association, Mr Armstrong Akintunde, has called for collaborative efforts to further develop the education sector in the country.
Speaking after the swear-in of the new executives, the newly elected President, he disclosed that all hands must be on deck to support the government in providing a conducive learning environment for the citizenry
He commended government efforts in enhancing the delivery of qualitative education in the country, noting that the job is enormous given the country’s population and other competing needs.
He said, “The large turnout of the old students for this election really confirmed the great love and respect we all have for this school”.
The election which was held at the school premises, Iperu witnessed the large turn out of the old students of the school who came around to kick off a new era for their alma mater.
He said, “I therefore pledge that my leadership will not betray the confidence reposed in our capacity to build on the strong legacy of supporting the growth of this great secondary school to be the first to be reckoned with in the country.

“We all know that the government cannot do it alone, we must therefore as stakeholders and old students be ready to deploy our resources and influence to complement the efforts of the government in upscaling the infrastructural drive of the school while also supporting the students to excel in their studies”.
The Iperu Remo born real estate magnate further called for the cooperation and support of the old students to move the association forward, saying that no efforts will be spared to mobilise for further development of the school.
Also speaking, the immediate past national secretary of the association, Mr Gbolahan Osho who also described the newly elected president as a man of many colours who deserves to be elected with his team to lead the school to the next level of greatness.
Osho noted that the Akintunde-led executive would impact the course of the old student association for the good.
