Fani-Kayode alleges EFCC siege ahead monday invitation date

Former minister of Aviation and director of Goodluck Jonathan Campaign Organisation, Dr. Femi Fani-Kayode, has alleged that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), laid siege to his Abuja home yesterday, even though he still has up till Monday, May 9 to honour an invitation sent to him by the anti-graft agency.
The former minister, who is alleged to have got N840 million campaign funds from Senator Nenadi Usman, acknowledged receiving EFCC invitation yesterday report to the commission on May 9.
He, however, posted on his facebook page that the commission had laid siege to his house in a desperate attempt to arrest and keep him away for the weekend.
“The letter of invitation was served this morning and was dated May 6. They said I should report on the May 9. “Can someone please tell me why they are at my gate? They can’t even wait, because they want to detain me so badly and keep me away for the weekend. The EFCC operative were said to have later left the premises.
“I never refused their invitation. Why all this? I leave them to God,” he wrote.The Guardian tried to reach EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, to confirm the allegations, but calls to his phone were not answered.
Meanwhile, the letter of invitation sent to Fani-Kayode advised him to report to the commission by 10 am on Monday.The letter was signed on behalf of the EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu, by Mohammed Abba.
It read in part: “This commission is investigating a case of criminal conspiracy, fraud and money laundering involving Joint Trust Dimension Ltd., in which you featured prominently.
“In view of the above, you are requested to kindly report for an interview with the undersigned.”

That’s the usual overzealous approach to matters by these guys. Same reason they have not bn able to intelligently and lawfully convicted any criminal.
It will be better they ignore FFK and concentrate on their work. They can’t close FFK mouth, no matter the persecution. He will rather take them on the more.

Mr basket mouth FFK, stop seeking public sympathy, you are a rogue of highest order, your facebook &twitter campaign against EFCC can`t save you from going down like your late father did, yours will be worst than his.
FFK, pls get prepared bcos you will be staying with them longer than the weekend you claimed they want to deny you.
