FCT minister mourns late Imam of National mosque

Sen. Bala Mohammed, the Minister, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has described the death of the Imam, Abuja National Mosque, Ustaz Musa Muhammad, as shocking and a monumental loss to the Abuja Muslim community.

In a statement signed by Mr Mohammad Sule, the Chief Press Secretary to the FCT Minister, in Abuja on Monday, the minister expressed his condolences to the Muslim community as well as the immediate family of the deceased.

He recalled the noble roles the late Imam played to douse tension when there were crisis situations in the territory.

The minister said that the nation would miss the “qualitative and selfless services of this patriot and a religious leader per excellence”.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant his gentle soul rest in perfect peace and fortitude to his immediate family to bear the irreparable loss.
