She argued that despite risking their lives and working tirelessly to protect the lives and property of Nigerians, they are never appreciated. Adeh said officers of the force work tirelessly to ensure the safety of citizens, but their efforts go unnoticed.
In a post shared on X this morning, Adeh wrote, “I’ve come to realize that police work is often a thankless job. Despite all we do, including risking our lives, we still face criticism from the public. Our officers are out there day and night, ensuring the safety of citizens, yet their efforts often go unnoticed.”
Nigerians are reacting to her post, which has garnered several comments, with some further criticizing her and others praising her work ethic. See some comments below.

One user, by the name @Tobi Akinbo, said, “Madam, na God dey protect Nigerians, not police. You protect politicians, it’s understandable. You can’t reap thank you where you didn’t sow.”
Another person said, “Madam, you knew the job before you applied for it, Ma. If you are after a cushy, safe job, then go apply to be a librarian. Only have to worry about paper cuts. I want selfless warriors in the police department, not people that want the public to kneel down and lick their boots. I thank you for your service.”

Recall, a few weeks ago, she had also posted on her social media handle about the level to which women are heartbroken by men.
In a post on X, the PPRO, who took on the unexpected role of a relationship advisor, expressed dismay at the increasing number of men who lead women on, only to later disappoint them. She stated that her office had been inundated with calls from heartbroken women sharing their painful experiences.
She wrote, “It’s distasteful to lead a woman on, then break her heart. The rate at which men are doing this is saddening. Most of the calls I receive these days are from women sharing their experiences in tears. Men, please, don’t start a relationship if you don’t want anything serious.”
Her recent posts on X have made some Nigerians feel she is only seeking public attention, as some comments suggest. One user, @Tville Barcanista, said, “Maybe you will be appreciated when you focus on your real job instead of desperately seeking social media fame and validation.”
