FG prioritises graft, national cohesion, seven others in medium-term plan
•Says measures in place to ensure successful implementation
For the period covering 2019 to 2023, the Federal Government is prioritising corruption, national cohesion and seven others in its medium-term plan, the Minister of State, Budget and National Planning, Clem Agba, has disclosed.
During a webinar with Nigerians in Diaspora on preparation of the Medium Term National Development Plan (MTNDP) 2021-2025 and Nigeria Agenda 2050, the minister listed other priorities to include improved governance, energy sufficiency, enhanced social inclusion and poverty reduction.
He hinted that the plan would also provide a system that improves access to quality education, affordable healthcare and productivity, adding that food security is equally part of the laudable initiative to be faithfully implemented by the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Agba continued: “The plan will expand business growth, entrepreneurship and industrialisation. It will also build a thriving and sustainable economy, expand transport and other infrastructure development and improve security for all.”
According to the minister, the current government has built pillars to ensure successful attainment of the goals.
