FHA to regularise unapproved structures in Festac, Isheri, Gwarinpa

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has announced that it will begin the regularisation of unapproved structures in Festac Town, Gowon Estate and Isheri Olofin 1 areas of Lagos State.

This was disclosed in a statement released by the management of the housing authority.

“The management would commence enforcement to comply with the authority’s building regulations at the expiration of the notices contained in the radio announcements it has placed,” FHA stated.

Aside Festac Town, Gowon Estate and Isheri Olofin 1, other estates listed are Isheri Olofin 2, Satellite 2 Navy Town, Satellite 6, Egan A, Egan B, Egan ADB, Egan E, Egan F, Esuti (Right side), Esuti (Left side) Abesan 1,2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10A,IOB, 11,12 and 13.

Also, other estates affected are: Gwarinpa, Lugbe, Kubwa, Maitama, Asokoro, Karu and Apo/ Guzape all in Abuja.

Meanwhile, the FHA management directed the affected persons in Lagos to visit the office of the Zonal Manager, FHA South West Zone, 211 Road, Festac Town Lagos.

While those in Abuja are to visit the office of the Executive Director, Estate Services at the Head Office, 26 Julius Nyerere Crescent, Asokoro, Abuja.
