As part of its commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions, Aradel Gas Limited, a subsidiary of Aradel Holdings Plc, has signed a Gas Supply Agreement (GSA) to deliver additional volumes of gas to NLNG through the Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG) and NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML) partnership.

The agreement is expected to strengthen Nigeria’s energy transition efforts and support ongoing government reforms aimed at securing a reliable gas supply and stimulating economic growth.

Speaking on the development, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aradel Holdings Plc, Adegbite Falade, said the deal reflects the company’s continued investment in infrastructure to harness its resources and support cleaner energy.
He noted that Aradel’s 100 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) Gas Processing Plant, commissioned in 2012, has enabled the company to commercialise gas for domestic use. According to him, Aradel has sustained a zero routine flaring policy at the Ogbele facility since 2012 and was the first non-joint venture gas supplier to NLNG.

“We are happy to sign an agreement that guarantees the supply of additional gas volumes to NLNG through the SNG-NGML partnership. As the energy landscape continues to evolve, natural gas remains central to our growth strategy and the broader transition to cleaner energy.”
“At Aradel, our expansion plans are closely aligned with the Federal Government’s initiatives on domestic gas supply, energy transition, and the use of gas to accelerate Nigeria’s industrial growth,” Falade said.
