Firms sign mou to boost gas-powered facility in lagos

A firms, Axxela Limited in partnership with NNPC Gas Marketing Limited (NGML), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 21st Century Technologies Limited for the development of a 20-megawatt gas-powered facility in Lagos. This milestone underscores Axxela and NGML’s commitment to delivering innovative and reliable energy solutions, benefiting a diverse range of stakeholders across various sectors

Under the terms of the MoU, signed by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Axxela Limited, Mr. Bolaji Osunsanya, and the Chairman/CEO of 21st Century Technologies Limited, Mr. Wale Ajisebutu, Axxela with NGML will deliver natural gas to power the facility currently being developed by 21st Century Data Centre.

Upon successful commissioning, the new 20MW facility will significantly enhance data storage and processing capabilities, while also providing support for critical digital infrastructure. The collaboration underscores a shared vision of leveraging cleaner energy to drive technological advancement and promote sustainability as a common goal.
