Foodaholic Festival, an yearly celebration that has become a hallmark of the Nigerian food scene, is gearing up for its 2023 edition.
This festival, which originated as a humble gathering in 2017, has blossomed into a full-fledged extravaganza that unites food enthusiasts, promotes culinary creativity, and fosters a festive atmosphere for families.
The Foodaholic Festival has evolved to cater to everyone in the family, from children to parents.
This vibrant and engaging event is a showcase of food, drinks, products, and services from a multitude of brands, FMCGs, and vendors.
It is an opportunity for brands to connect with their consumers, gather instant feedback, sample products, market, and sell in a lively festival atmosphere.
With over 3,000 in-person attendees, the yearly celebration boasts of collaboration with over 10 corporate brands, about 60 MSMEs, and interaction with approximately three million individuals, online and via TV.
Some of the features of this festival includes, Open-air lounges, DJ and musical performances, Games and competitions, an array of delectable food and Product sampling, and Influencers meet and greet amongst others.
According to the Convener of Foodaholic Festival, Gina Ehikodi Ojo, the objective of the event is to create a safe, secure, and joyful space for families to bond, showcase products and services for sale to the intended target audience.
She said it also provides a platform for family brands to engage with their target audience, offer brands an avenue to sample and directly promote their products and services to attendees, as well as unlock endless post-event opportunities ahead of the festive season.
This year’s Foodaholic Festival will feature an exciting two-part event including a Symposium and the Festival.
According to Ojo, the Symposium, themed, “Promoting Culinary Creativity: The Pivotal Role of Advertising” is scheduled to hold 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, December 8, with Industry professionals at a private session.
The Foodaholic Festival will hold the following day 8:00 am to 7:00 pm December 9, 2023 at the Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The 2023 Foodaholic Festival promises an attendance of over 4,000 enthusiastic food lovers, making it an ideal platform for brands to interact with their target audience.
