Football fans on Sunday in Lagos commended Dream Team VI for its victory at the just-concluded U-23 African Nations Cup held in Senegal.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the Nigerian team defeated its Algerian counterpart 2-1 in the final of tournament.

Friday Ekpo, a former Super Eagles player, Sure 2 Odds commended the team for lifting the trophy.

Ekpo said the team should be reinforced to strengthen the players for the tasks ahead.

“This victory is another plus to football in Nigeria and a pleasant gift from the players and the coach to the country in this season of celebration.

“Despite all the challenges Siasia faced, he was able to coach the boys to victory’’, he said.

Michael Adjuya, the Director of Brazil Rock Solid FC, betting tips 1×2 praised the team for winning the tournament, adding that it was a double victory for the country.

“First, they qualified for the Olympics through this competition and winning the competition at the end is a remarkable thing.

“I have confidence in the ability of coach Siasia and I believe he will get the team ready for the 2016 Olympics’’, Over 3.5 he said.

In the same vein, Falade Oyekan, Chairman of the Lagos Divisional Football Association (LDFA), said the team was able to triumph because of its determination.

NAN reports that eight countries participated in the competition which kicked off on Nov. 28 and ended on Dec. 12.
