Forvis Mazars has renewed its partnership with Out of Home Academy Nigeria to audit the LOMA 2024 awards.

Forvis Mazars in Nigeria has announced its continued partnership with the Out of Home Academy Nigeria to audit the Location Marketing Awards (LOMA) process for the second consecutive year. This collaboration underscores Forvis Mazars’ dedication to upholding the integrity and professionalism of the LOMA awards.

Formerly known as Mazars, the firm unveiled its new network, Forvis Mazars, on 3 June 2024. This unique network comprises just two members operating under a single brand: Mazars, an international partnership present in over 100 countries, and FORVIS, a top-ranked U.S. firm. This strategic alignment positions Forvis Mazars as a top 10 global network, offering unparalleled agility, capacity, and coverage to support clients worldwide.

Fiyinfolu Okedare, Director of Consulting at Forvis Mazars in Nigeria, expressed confidence in the new brand’s ability to deliver a more thorough and professional audit for LOMA 2024 and other clients. “We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of audit integrity and transparency, and our partnership with the Out of Home Academy Nigeria reflects this dedication,” said Okedare.

The Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the apex regulatory body for advertising in Nigeria, has also vetted and approved the award categories and processes stipulated for LOMA 2024. This endorsement further solidifies the credibility and significance of the LOMA awards.

Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, Director General of ARCON, commended the organisers of LOMA for submitting the award process for ARCON vetting and engaging an external auditor, Forvis Mazars, to oversee the process. “It is commendable that LOMA has taken the initiative to ensure the credibility and transparency of their award process. The Location Marketing Awards (LOMA) 2024 is set to recognise and celebrate excellence in the Out of Home advertising industry on 28 September 2024 at Marriot Hotel, GRA-Ikeja, Lagos. With the support of Forvis Mazars, the awards are poised to maintain the highest standards of transparency and professionalism.
