“The unusual movement woke me up and I watched from inside what was happening, but to my surprise, I saw about eight boys with Jerry cans pouring fuel around the house, and before I knew what was happening all parts of my house were on flames.

“So, we managed to escape to a nearby house to hide from the assailants so that they would not kill us. The intention was to set my family ablaze while we were asleep but we were lucky to be alive. We lost all our property, the house burnt to ashes.
