FRSC deploys 1,700 personnel, equipment for yuletide

Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has deployed 1,700 personnel comprising regular and special marshals to oversee traffic activities on highways across the state for the remaining part of the year.

According to the sector commander, Clement Oladele, who disclosed this yesterday, 35 patrol vehicles, four Advanced Life Support Ambulances (ALSA), five patrol motorcycles, one heavy duty tow truck, breathalysers for testing drivers for drugs and alcoholic consumption and machines for rescuing trapped crash victims, among other operational equipment have also been deployed.

He noted that the exercise would last till Monday, January 20, 2020.
