Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the appointment of 26 heads of government departments, comprising executive secretaries, directors general and managing directors of agencies.

A statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Abba Anwar, disclosed that the new appointments, which take immediate effect, were aimed at facilitating effective service delivery in all the affected government agencies.

The appointments are the major ones the governor has so far made after his reelection for a second term in office.
