Ganduje, Obaseki, Tinubu, others condole with Dangote over brother’s demise

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State and his Edo counterpart, Godwin Obaseki, as well as All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Bola Tinubu, have commiserated with the President of Dangote Group, Alh. Aliko Dangote, over the passing of his brother, Alh. Sani Dangote, in United States of America, yesterday.

Until his last moment, the deceased was Vice President of the business conglomerate.

In a condolence message signed by Abba Anwar, his Chief Press Secretary, Ganduje said the death of the illustrious son of Kano was not only shocking to the Dangote family, but to all, particularly those from Kano.

Also, the Vice Chancellor, Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil, Prof. Shehu Musa, on behalf of management, staff and students of the institution, sympathised with their Chancellor, Alh. Aliko Dangote, over the loss.

In a condolence message, the leadership of the state university expressed sadness and prayed for the repose of Sani’s soul.

Tinubu, in a statement on Monday by his Media Office, yesterday, prayed Almighty God to comfort the Dangote family and grant the deceased eternal rest.

On his part, Obaseki described the news of the death as shocking, noting that he was deeply saddened by the unfortunate loss.
