Kano State government has dismissed four staff of its Bureau for Land Management for allegedly disposing off government’s landed properties.

A statement by the Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, yesterday, indicated that the dismissed officers included a Senior Survey Assistant on Grade Level 06, Abdulmuminu Magami; Senior Land Officer on Level 10, Abdullahi Idris; Press Attendant on Level 05, Audu Abba Aliyu Assistant Chief Land Officer on Level 13, Baba Audu.

He explained that their dismissal was in accordance with Civil Service Rule No. 04406, adding that the decision was to serve as deterrent to others while warning that government “will not condone any misconduct from any civil servant.”
