Ganduje urges INEC to improve, says process good, but slow

Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to improve on its performance in the Governorship election, saying today’s voting process was good but cumbersome.
Ganduje, who cast his vote at his polling unit around 10:00am at Cikin Gari ward In Ganduje town, said the process was so slow that many voters found it difficult to cast their votes.
Despite that, he however, commended INEC for the improvement recorded compared to 2019.
He said, “INEC officials did their work very well; everything worked fine, even security agencies were also doing their work “ Even the voters were in orderly manner, no problem, there was no complaint, except the process was a beat slow.
“I believed the process would improve later, so, everything is going on fine. I’m happy with everything, there is no complaint from the voters,” Ganduje said.
