A Ghanaian undercover investigator and a prominent member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigations team, Ahmed Hussein-Suale has been shot dead in Accra.

Ahmed was reportedly shot three times by unidentified men riding a motorbike, twice in the chest and another in the neck late Wednesday night at Madina in Accra while driving home.

The leader of the investigation team Anas said his colleague ” was just shot and killed, nothing was taken from him.”

Anas posted a video on Twitter alongside Hussein-Suale death announcement which showed a Ghanaian lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong making violent threats against the deceased.

Agyapong stated in the video, which was part of ‘who watches the watchman’ anti-Anas docuseries, that the public should deal with Hussein-Suale for a handsome reward.”

This not the only threat against Hussein-Suale and Tiger ey., Last year, the organisation raised the alarm that its staff had become recipients of frequent violent threats, calling on the world to prevail on Ghanaian authorities to ensure their safety.

Anas and his team have taken on several Ghanaian sectors to expose corruption, including an undercover on corruption in the Ghanaian sports industry which is suspected to have led to the murder of Hussein-Suale last night.

In September 2017, Hussein-Suale shot a video of the coach of the Nigerian national Salisu Yusuf collecting a wad of money, reportedly, $1000 cash which led to the suspension of the Coach.
